Effective Ultraviolet Germicidal Disinfection
A highly effective way to destroy microorganisms including airborne, viruses, bacteria, and mold spores. As the air stream and surfaces are exposed to the germicidal ultraviolet light, the genetic material of the microorganism is destroyed or inactivated. Indirect UV-C for upper room disinfection
Designed with horizontal protective louvers to safely eliminate airborne viruses and bacteria while protecting humans and animals from UV-C radiation in occupied spaces.
Air 1 purifies upper room air in occupied spaces, reducing the risk of cross-infection by virtually eliminating infectious airborne microbes. It uses germicidal UV lamps and a series of specially designed louvers to direct UV rays to the upper portion of the room. It must be installed on the wall at 7 feet or above.

Disinfection Coverage Area
The disinfection area range is from 220 sq.ft. to 320 sq.ft. depending on the UV power of the model. For larger disinfection areas view models S1 and S2.
The disinfection needed to inactivate pathogens is relative to the amount of UV power at a particular position and distance from the UV lamp. This is called Irradiance and is measured in µW/cm2. Learn more.
